Happy Thanksgiving

I roasted and carved 40 pounds of this yesterday.  I got up at 4:00 am this morning to start the final prep and went to my basement fridge to check on the turkey.  I asked my husband to turn it over in the brine while I was busy yesterday.  I found my turkey in the brining bag sitting on the floor with the bag wide open.  Guess who will be the first one through Whole Foods door when they open at 7:00.  I guess I shouldn't kill him on Thanksgiving Day?  I'll wait until tomorrow.  Hope you have a good holiday!

Omg...Joyce! Best of luck and Happy Thanksgiving to you! We are doing our Thanksgiving dinner here in London on Saturday due to fact we and our guests are all working. I plan to brine my turkey starting tomorrow in my giant pasta pot outside and hope the foxes don't get into it overnight! ;)

You don't want your children to remember Thanksgiving as the day their father died at the hands of their mother. Wait a bit so you won't be the prime suspect.
